we should highlight the dream….
its a chance to learn, be helped to make the dream comes true
something that she can achieve
*change the book to primary 5 or 6
client impress was impressed by:
1. the picture of Tung Chung
its quite detail
-seems depend on the source from the interview
-make the feel of deprived family stronger
2. the procedure of finding audience
it’s from children’s view
they can see the serious of having this performance
last time we had talked about:
how to end the story
*try to add the impact of … having the dream success
will we add some message at the end?!
better have the slogan at the end? (kat)
Kat:
people tends to protect a younger children… - which is the image
delete the part of choosing songs
focus on how to make her dream comes true
establishing shot-
maybe have an exterior pan, pan into the house
the flow of choosing audience can be quicker or fewer steps
we should focus on her dream..
what will happen during the performance?
we can make the dream to be the climax of the animation
lack of family member (the love from them)
mentors can lessen the need of this element
- extend her dream and start to exaggerate it
can audience help the situation??
– bring it out in the slogan
We have the correct direction…
but the weight of its background and finding audience should be adjust
The end: back to reality or the dream comes true??

the scandals and short pants are good
the facial expression is positive
She can have a more localized dressing
the clothes can be shorter and older
the vest – 棉襖
looks a little bit poor in winter

some buttons are missing

larger contrast in “before and after”

Background
the broken wall is similar to where they live
but it is still not similar enough to be their flat
there should be many things in the dining room
only a bed can be placed in their room
or 2 storey bed in the dining room
furniture should be worn
the mix and match of furniture is strange
the clothes maybe hanged on the dining room
*they may let us take photos of their flat
and client will send to us before this Friday (31/10)

contact is needed to add to it
leave some space for adding information
it may have different price for the whole series
one set for a message is enough
mayb there will be a series of different stages for different targets
cannot imagine how to bring out the message by a cartoon in the poster
kat:
keep the character
the slogan may decorate more
rather than having the snapshot from the animation
It should be in Chinese
have some design on the key words. eg: CDF
and appear in the whole series ( maybe as a icon )
cannot link to what the CDF bring without watching the animation
the icon of the child in the animation can be used
but it cannot emphasize the CDF elements
to-dos:
poster -> easy hanger -> leaflet
in simple style
slogan:
1. A little from you , the dream comes true
2. **river -> ocean
to be confirmed
3. Its not a magic. lets make it come true/Imagine it comes true
clients:
can make it into 2 version
or similar style with 2 different slogan…but better to be related
preference: 1
Kat:
for donor/mentor – English is okay
It should have a Chinese version
Quotation:

cover of the diary – the same style with the animation and poster
the design try to be simplified

It would be no use for them when they don’t have the computer
(not suitable for all)

can make a larger quantity at once
they can get one when they have lessons
simplify – try to apply to other items

Two situation for the use of leaflets:
1. after seeing the poster, get the leaflet -wanna know what it is about
2. already get the leaflet – remind them about this event

To-be-finished:
1. animation flow (animatic)
2. Poster layout with fine fonts (close to finish, better without hand drawing)
